How many unburned audio cd's do you own?

I personally only have about 20..

A more relevant survey would be of ownership/age/income.

I enjoy collecting things. I own several hundred CD's maybe 280-320 or somewhere in there. If a download a sufficient number of mp3's by an artist I will often end up buying an album.

Probably near 200s. Right now, I wish they were all CD-Rs(sorry, RIAA ), because that'd mean I didn't pay $13 per fricking disc. But no, can't screw over Sarah McLachlan and Van Halen...

I lost count after 1,000 -- probably at leat 1,200 by now. I've been buying them since '85 (still buying about 5 a month) and I've had a decent enough salary for the last 8 years that I can buy pretty much as many as I can listen to.

I suspect that after you young whippersnappers graduate and start making a decent salary you'll be more willing to support the artists you like, instead of just taking their music off the p2p.

For a moment I thought you mean blank cd's (which I have a thing for buying whenever there is a sale. I estimate I'll use all the blank cd's I have in about 50 years.)
As for real cd's, between my wife and I, I'd say a few hundred.

I bought most of my 200 cd's before the RIAA went insane (napster). I now have a moral problem with buying music too.

i'm pretty sure i have over 100 cd's. but of course i haven't bought too many since i got my first burner a few years back.
