Would do, but my dialup proggie (not the default windows one) sets the homepage as my ISP's page whenever I connect 🙁

Ditto. Then I goto 'groups -> anandtech' which opens 3 tabs in crazy browser, hot deals, off topic, and (shhhh) fat wallet hot deals.

I also have a 'news' group which opens yahoo and a local news site.

anandtech is always in the drop down, so it really doesn't take much time to bring it up
