I understand/speak about 50 words of Cantonese. The problem is that Chinese people say I have a funny accent

I wish I could speak Mandarin and Cantonese, my parents spoke to me in English though and I never went to Chinese school as a kid. Its my own fault though, its so much harder to learn when you're older.

I can understand some of both though, more Cantonese than Mandarin. I can order Dim Sum though! hehe

No, but I wish I could. I have a lot of Philippino and Chinese friends, and I'd like to talk to them in their own language. Or know Japanese, so I can understand all those Anime's with out any sub titles.
