My income comes out to more than $20/hour, but I'm self employed. And yes, I bust my balls. I have the biggest prick for a boss.

If I break down my yearly salary to per hour than yes I will be well about $20/hour. Software Eng. from just before the bubble burst.

that depends (well not really...), based on a 40 hour week, I make way more than 20 an hour. But since we all "bust our balls", everyone works closer to 65 hours a week (we are exempt so there is no overtime). Using the 65 hours a week number, my salary per hour drop a lot and becomes something in the high 20s.

Most here average over $20 /hr because the high standard of living. BTW...I am in the Silicon valley.

Good Point. I made $21/hr doing Help Desk at Davis, CA. I was commuting from South Sacramento from my parent's house, so I managed to save up a bit.
