I have money on me, and I have money saved, although not a whole lot by most people's standards :)

I think I get paid next wednesday. (every 2 weeks)

I think that's a good sign, when you get paid every 2 weeks, and you forget when you are supposed to get paid (i.e. you're not scraping by and desperate for your next check)

I've got to get used to being on a bi-weekly pay schedule. My old job paid me weekly which made things really easy for me.

Yeh well, you'll be whistling a different tune when you go to do your taxes at the end of the year and lob off 25% of your tax liabilities :)
I dunno I figure that with the houses we're looking at tax deducting the mortgage won't be much higher than standard deductions for us so we probably won't get much :(

Really? I knocked off about $10,000 in interest and property taxes the first two years. This was on a $120,000 home, with 5% down, and 7% interest.

But isn't your standard deduction around $7k anyway? And if you file jointly wouldn't it be $14k standard vs. $10k there plus anything else you can tag on?

I'm broke as always... I get paid so little money that I don't even feel I'm being paid at all... It's like being unemployed. Oh well, maybe not. I wouldn't be able to pay for the 'net access had I been really penniless. Yes, I'm poor... But I'm not really poor like the majority of people in my country. To put it right, I live worse than I'd like to, but better than many people I've known, where I came from.

As for being $0.0 broke, that has never happened to me. I don't have a CC, only a debit card (MasterCard) and only 1 bank account :(, but I use it rarely since the places I buy from would only take cash. Heck, had I been $0.0 broke I wouldn't be able to even get to work... This life seems just suck the money from your wallet like a vacuum cleaner... Frigging money problems...
