Poll: How many hours per day do you listen to music?

About how many hours per day do you listen to music? Even having it on in the background counts. I do about 9 hours, between being at work and driving in the car. My new neighbor below me literally does 12-16 hours per day of salsa music with the bass cranked all the way up. Some friends I have almost never listen. Where do you fall?

I listen to music 20+ hrs per day, very quietly when I sleep, and during the commute to/from work, at work, at home.

about 4-6 hours a day. the bus ride to school is about 20-30 minutes. then at home i listen a couple of hours.

I have to have it blaring in my ear every day, all day at work. Unfortunately i have no control over what's being played so it ends up just pissing me off most of the time, especially when some one puts cowboy music on :|

As a result, i rarely listen to music at home anymore
All this music sitting here at home & all i want is some quiet.

Average 0. Listen to podcasts when commuting. Occasionally I'll listen to music but it 's pretty rare.

15 minutes each way to work. Probably 10 minutes filled with talk so more like 5 each way.

I voted 4-6, but most of that is music going in the background while I'm doing schoolwork, chores around the house, etc. I probably only spend an hour each day really listening to music (i.e. checking out a new album or something like that).

i take my ipod, have an fm transmitter, listen to it in the car
listen to my ipod at the gym
have my headphones in at the gym
listen to music at work
listen to music through class sometimes
listen to music while on the computer
listen to music when i run
put my ipod back in my ihome


i voted 7>9 hours. i listen to trance all day

I spend about an hour every day with my stereo on full blast. I'm not really a fan of playing soft music in the background while working. When I play it, I want it LOUD and no distractions whatsoever.

Although its the radio, so how much actual music they play is unknown.
