u be the judge.
i think it's safe to assume that 1 date does not count as a bf/gf relationship.
 
lost count of g/f's if by definition = 1 date or a kiss.

10+ partners also = sex once or more.

I am 32. Married about 6 years of that total, and serious g/f's (live in's and/or only partners) for about 6 years of that total as well.

 
age 37, 3 significant others, married the 3rd one. I was relatively selective with who I dated. I'd have married the 1st had she not turned into a sl*t when she went away to a different college. (sorry, no friendlier term for what she did). The second was for only a couple months. I don't think I'd have ever considered marrying her. In between there was a long list of others I dated, most never lasted more than 1 or 2 dates. (one date was aborted after 45 minutes - no brain that I could detect - hot though) Then along came #3. And been married now for 14 years.
 
Girlfriend, somone I have dated for more than a month and with whom I have had intimate relations.
I have had 10-12 girlfriends and I have lived with two women.

I'd say a g/f is one real date where something may happen or not.

an s/o is after a few dates and sort of committed.

I never really designated between who I was sleeping with and other g/f's. Once you do that you may as well make them s/o's.
