isn't that obvious if that's the only way we can get substantially faster computers? Thats like predicting how many computers are going to have Pentiums and Athlons, because the new technology is just going to replace the old just as GHz did MHz and so forth.

Also a reminder that having 50 computers doesn't give you 50 processors. It's just the number of procs in the computer that you use most.
