Loud as HELL, but this is the only way to cool my tbird 750 at 1.133 gig (11x103). freakindg 2 60mm deltas and 2 120 mm ystechs are deafening.

Lsat night I cut out all obstructions in the way of my fans (mounted the front intake 8cm between the faceplate and the metal part.) Only a 80x80 on the front like I described + the 80x80 power supply, stock HSF for now on the Duron600.

Here's the interesting part, my new case I'm building is made of a 2' x 2'7" x 8" wooden box. Most importantly it'll be topped with a 2'x2' exhaust fan. It's still in the early stages and here's a link to my confusing description. . I wonder how many CFM that baby is? I'll top it with the 72W peltier I already have and water cooling I'll buy or build. My first case mods here btw, *sniff* I'm so proud *sniff*

I see this thread getting longer all the time, so here I go:

1 26CFM 80mm fan in lower front pulling in air.
1 below PS 26CFM 80mm fan exhausting air.
1 38.6CFM fan in PS exhausting air.

Case temp = 28.9C

Quiet!

Tony

Only 2 cases fans in my mid-tower; both are quiet "Adda" 80mm fans, comparable to Panaflow P80L1As. I suppose you could count the two fans in the Enermax power supply, although they're not exactly "case" fans.

I have five. An 80mm sucking air in the front sucking air in, a blower front top going out. My Delta CPU fan. A whirly gig gadget in the back blowing air out. And of course my power supply fan

btw... dose the 18inch oscilating fan beside my comp work???

the saddest part about this guys is that you can't even tell when the oscilating fan is on LoL! the other fans are SO WORN OUT LoL!!!

not that loud tho... just kinda wierd heh...

Just dropped one of my intake fans to cut down on noise. Happy so far, though case temp is up 7 degress C. Doubt that'll affect much.

To many...but I did it just cause I could

3 power supply fans
1 CPU fan
1 Side case fan
1 Back top fan
1 Back middle fan
3 front fans
4 side fans for peripherals
---------------
14 fans

like I said...I did it cause I could =]

14 i guess. (not counting 2 monitor fans)

2 sunon top exhaust
2 I-storm hard drive intakes
---- partition to separate hard drives from rest of case
2 fans in enermax PS exhaust
2 in bayfan exhaust
1 Gorb
1 slot cooler under video
2 on cardcooler over cards
2 sunon intakes down in front

thinking of putting in two nidec blowers to direct air better
