*Poll* How many AT people play Enemy Territory by Grey Matter?

I play Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory by Grey Matter. I'm just curious who@Anandtech plays it too!

I can't stand the class system because unlike other class-based games (TF for example) it actually requires teamwork to accomplish the objectives. Getting any kind of strategy together has always been impossible on public servers so I prefer the one-man-army approach.
I even dl'ed it again last week to give it a second chance, but I tried to get on no less than a dozen randomly chosen public servers unsuccessfully. Every single one was running a different set of custom garbage that I didn't want to wait 10 minutes to dl.
Maybe if I was in an organized clan match I could get into it, but public servers and players are just so random...

Jump on our server "{SNA}Shoot to Thrill-9cp" on Saturday Night, after 10pm eastern. Dl is fast so you might have to wait a couple mins (hope you don't have dialup). Look for me or anyone of my team mates. We always try to promote team work. -JC

I've found, like most team-based online games, it's only fun on private servers. Public servers have way too many idiots that go "one man army" and make it difficult to work as a team. There was a really good private server I played on almost nightly, but I got into BF1942 and haven't been playing in a while.

Right now I play on an excellent private DC server. It's been down for upgrades for a few days now, I tried playing on public servers and had to stop because of the mass idiocracy from the pub players.

pretty much my same experience. People have custom stuff and I could never get into a game

my clan has private and public servers. pubs for general play, private for practices for matches

i play 2-5 nights a week, hour or two at a time.

server ip: 66.28.238.17:22000

a couple custom maps on it, but we have a redirect for most or all of them so it goes pretty fast, 20 player server.

I really with there were more fast servers available! They are always full.. and always running custom pk3 files :-/

I play it one or twice A DAY. I love this game and it's about the only multiplayer game I play.
