here i don't do more than 10 km/h over (so 110km/h) on the freeway, since we have so little of it in WA it's usually plentifully staffed by cops...

in the country, speed limit is 110km/h, and i sit on 120-130 usually, except when i'm really out bush, then 140...any faster and my fuel consumption goes pear-shaped 😛

Generally 75, unless the line of sight is far enough to pick up cops, then it's usually around 90 providing there's no other cars on that stretch of road.

crap I didn't read the poll question specifically... I was assuming 55 limit... if it's 65, definitely 80. If it's a 55 limit, I do 70-75.

Often times, it's just the flow of traffic I use to gauge.

on back roads where the limit is 45, I like to drive 90...


But on the 55mph freeway i drive 70, 65, i drive 74,70 i drive 79


you realize there are different speed limits different places, and that determine how fast people drive? *yes i know our poll says 65mph*

also depends on the state, 65mph limit 79 in IL, 74 in WI, etc

what is this normal driving conditions you speak of? The road is either congested, and then you have to do the speed of traffic (70 or so) because weaving would be pointless, or the road isn't congested or is empty (1:00am much?) and I'll do 85, and burst at 110

i usually run 7 over

i've found it's right on the line between getting me to where i'm going a bit faster, and being a bit slower than others who usually catch the cops for me 😉

I-88 has speed limit of 55mph, I always go 70 and never get pulled over, usually others are faster.. *knock on wood*

Most interviews I see with police officers, they say they don't ticket anyone unless you're doing more than 10 over the limit. But of course thar varies by location and whether the cop is a d!ck or not but that's about an average...

Depends where I am and what the speed of traffic is.
In Rush hour, < 15 mph.
During light traffic when everyones crusin' along at a good pace usually the speed of traffic in the left lanes, so closer to 90.
