I recently discovered back up files dating from about 1996, and I know I have a few floppies (perhaps now unreadable) that go back to 1993 or ealier.

I have the majority of my files from 2001 on, although I have formatted at least 3 times since then.

How about you?

I used to have a copy of Windows 286 & PC DOS 2.1 on floppy disk. I think that classifies as late eightys?

Well, main purpose of this poll is to see how far back your hard drive records go, but I guess I mentioned floppies too 🙂

I still have MP3's from way back when my 486 could barely decode them. I had to set it to play in mono... LOL... Around 1996 or 97.

I've only had this Powerbook for a little under a year, so it only goes back that far. I have files on my backup server dating back to 1996.

I have data archived from pre 1996, but its stored in a drive thats not in current use. I normally format my computers once every 6 months, and backup all data to be saved to my storage drives on my server.

I was cleaning a 2001 HD today I found in a box and I made me think about all the old files I have.
