20 miles the most direct route by due to traffic I generally take the 30 mile route which lets me get home a good bit sooner, minus all the heartache of a crowded highway full of idiots.

About 40 miles. This sucks bigtime. I hope I'll be able to move closer real soon. Living far away sucks, it wastes my time and makes me tired.

If a sit at home and access a computer that is across the country does that count as at home or greater than 40 miles?

I can get up at 8:30, take a shower, lounge around for a few minutes, drive to work and fight for a parking spot, get inside to my computer and be logged in by 9:05.

My new house is only about 5 miles from my work. Quick, easy drive, I don't even have to get on a freeway :)

Anywhere from 35 to 50 miles. I work at different stations so it varies from shift to shift.

:Q Thats rediculous.....Poor Skoorbie will never see you! Why do you have to work so far away? Is it because it's the only place you can get in? What's the deal with the laws in your state and your problems? Is it because you are a nurse from Canada? Sorry about voting on that Anti Canadian legislation

10 feet. I VPN in from my home office. :) The commuting distance would be 42 miles each way. In LA traffic, that's about 2 hours on a good day.

I only live about 5 miles from work but it takes forever to get there. In Hawaii you have to fight through massive traffic to get anywhere during certain times of the day. Yet, it isn't that bad, but it gets soo muggy and the heat gets to you. So a 15 minute trip takes like 45 minutes if I am lucky.
