**POLL** How do you eat your corn on the cob?

Was having some sweetcorn last night and was curious.....

typewriter style(left to right in rows) or do you spin it and eat it in one long spiral?

As an aside, try squeezing fresh lime on your corn instead of salt/butter. Sounds weird, but it's really tasty.

Typewriter usually, but I have spiraled it (less messy when you spiral).

I used to be a butter person. But then I realized it is better with just salt and tons of freshly ground pepper. Whenever I go back to butter it is ok, but nowhere near as good as dry. I'm the only one I've ever met to eat it dry.

so I've been told. I have bad assosiations with it, I guess. I can't even think of canned corn without hearing in my head that slurping sound that people make as they're eating corn on the cob, and it makes me a little sick.

so I've been told. I have bad assosiations with it, I guess. I can't even think of canned corn without hearing in my head that slurping sound that people make as they're eating corn on the cob, and it makes me a little sick.

if i plan to eat more than 1 ear, i'll cut the kernels off and eat with a spoon

the lime sounds really good, i'll have to try it
