Troll much? Good job in insulting 84% of the world's populaton. :disgust:

Hey, if 84% of the population wanted to believe that 1+1 = 17 then they deserve to be insulted. Even if you're so weak minded that you must believe in the fairy tale of some great cosmic muffin, swallowing the ridiculous concept of it happening in the last 10,000 years (or even worse, the last 4500 years) makes you monumentally stupid. If that applies to 84% of the worlds population then they should be ashamed of themselves.

Believe what you want to believe and I'll do the same. You don't need to insult someone on an argument that neither you nor I can prove.

beliefs that are derived from a fictional book deserve to be repudiated.

Again science cannot conceptualize.

you should also look up the foam theory of the multiverse and how natural selection could potentially occur on a cosmic scale, i thought that was cool.

May the best Universe win!

Even more cool, if the multiverses act as components of some mega-universe, with all our tiny universes acting as mere subatomic particles in the larger universe.

fine. but do it without insulting people. i don't care if you think it's a fictional book or not. do you honestly think that you can change someone's mind about their religion by mocking them and calling them stupid?

I think there is probably some higher level being that took part in creating our universe, but humans may not be the desired effect.

I find the Riddickian theory provocative. "[T]here is another verse. A verse where life is welcomed and cherished. A ravishing ever-new place called Underverse... but the road to that verse crosses over the threshold."

Why do a person's religious beliefs deserve this magical aura of respect? We can argue about and criticize each others political and personal beliefs but for some reason criticizing someone's religious beliefs is crossing the line?

When have I critized you about anything except your blantant disrespect for anyone who doesn't believe the same thing as you? And if you do criticize anyone, you can at least do it respectfully, even if it is something trivial.

And I dare say that for a large majority of religious people, that their religion is more personal than politics. Calling someone's religion stupid is like calling a parent's kid hideous to their face and being dead serious about it. It may the truth in your eyes, but you don't have to be a prick and it sure isn't necessary in a civil conversation.

Number D# As af***ing, freaking joke by God and the damn sponge is still laughing!
That was just to keep God in da' poll, otherwise my answer would have been: A freaking, F***ing joke by a more advanced species, and the damn sponges are still laughing!

Sorry, your 84% figure is wayyyyyyyyy off. The US is the laughing stock as far as education goes, particularly in science and mathematics. We have by far the largest percentage of people who deny evolution, and that's still under 50%. Get your facts straight.

p.s. Even the Catholics, one of the slowest to come to grips with reality, agree with the big bang theory and evolution. (Since Pope Pious the some #)

Sorry, but I have no problem insulting ignorance. Especially when they choose to be ignorant and disregard all evidence to the contrary of their belief. What would you say to a 30 year old man who still believes in the Tooth Fairy and that Santa visits every house in the world on Christmas?
