When it comes to computer savviness, I am the MORON of all MORONS. I have no clue what to do! OK, I can turn it on, point, and click. Other than that I call my personal technical support--Viper GTS.

Makes ya wonder what I'm doing in these forums, huh?

it just depends on the area. in most things, like hardware, windows, networking/internet, and just general computer knowledge, i'd say i know more than basically everyone i meet. but then again i live in iowa so its not like on the west coast where everyone's a CS major. when it comes to unix, i'm learning, and i know some, but definitely i'm still a noob. and if you put me up against certain people, i'll look like a noob at everything. its all relative.

iono.

I know enough to understand that i know more than the average user but what i know compared to what i can know is a very very skewed ratio.

It depends.

To my family I'm a genius.

Personally, I think I know more than the average person about hardware and programming.

Amongst this group I R stoopid.

When someone is asking me for help with their computer, I tell them that I'm not very good with computers.

Got to agree with the idea that the closer to genius status you are as percieved by the rest of the world. The closer to moron you become in your own mind.
Hope when it's all done I feel I know nothing. Only then will the GODS let me into Geek heaven.

edit. Geek heaven incorporates Supermodel Heaven, they just use the Geek moniker to keep it hush hush.
