My TB-800 socket A did a few minutes with 104C (the heatsink was not ok)
Even the Abit KT7 bios is only working til 99C (display was :4)
Kudos to AMD the TB is still running on 840 like a champ!
 
Bare PII350 without a heatsink (yes I am an idiot), booted into dos and then crashed. Restarted and the BIOS of my P3B-F showed 180C. The thing still works perfectly at 525MHz. 😛
 
Booted into windows with a DURON 700 @ 1008mhz @ 95c. I didn't crash, I had enough time to somehow open Asus Probe to check the temp, then I turned it off and rebooted.. (because I shouldn't let it just cool stright down).. Bios said 75c when I got there.. lol, the thing runs @ 40c now 😛

I sure hope you're talking about a PII

And I get a Cool max of 31C on my PIII450.
