Poll: Hmmm... Victoria's Secret or Fredericks?

We get catalogues from both these places just about every week or so (trust me, she buys anything from either one just once, and you'll be getting them forever). I'm certainly not complaining, there could be worse things coming in the mail than pictures of beautiful women in skimpy things

I'm considering some naughty end of year presents to go along with the other 'regular' Christmas kinda stuff. So which one has the sexier stuff? Which one has the better quality stuff? I'd like some input from the ladies! (no, guys in drag do not count as ladies )

Although I have never ordered anything from Frederick's, I can tell you that Victoria's Secret has good quality stuff. Frederick's seems a little cheap looking in comparision to Victoria's Secret.

All the women talk about VS. They drool over the different styles at lunch & breaks. They have fancy bras & sets of bra panties.... all cost an arm & a leg... not cheap at all.

Well I like fredericks better ... but thats jut because my chest wont fit in anything Victoria's Secret makes ... so I would go for Fredericks which actually makes stuff I can wear ... if she doesnt have a problem with the size issue .. then your next consideration would be class factor vs. sexy factor ... V's tends to be classier ... but F's tend to be sexier ... F's tends to have more of a naughty factor ... its all in what she likes ... this is a present for her ... so think what she likes ... or you could go by the test my cousin's husband has ... he said the true test of good lingerie is how it looks on the floor ... <G>

tagej: Victoria's Secret is the way to go. Not only are they sexy, but they are classy too. Now if your looking for bras with peekaboo holes in them, and underwear missing certain important parts, by all means, shop at Fredericks of Hollywood. But I should own stock in Victorias Secret, I own so much of their lingerie. And I have had some of it for ten years, and it is still just like new.

So far it seems one-sided: VS. Hmmm... maybe a couple of things from VS and something really bad from Frederick's might be a good combo

I buy under and outerwear from VS. The shipping costs on their catalogue stuff is outrageous, though. Never bought anything from Frederick's.

The one thing I can say for Frederick's is this: I do think that they have larger sizes available, which is something I think VS should do.

All women should have access to pretty things...

I wish I could afford some of the VS stuff.
But I'm not really very happy with their stuff. I know people that only buy VS, because other stuff just doesn't fit them right. I'm the opposite - I have bought a few things, but have not found underwear that actually fits me right and is comfy. I'd rather have a $15 Target bra which fits than a $40 VS that doesn't.

I think Fredericks has stuff that's a little bit more naughty, while with VS you can be naughty and very classy at the same time. Just depends what kinda naughty you want

I looked over at the Frederick's site and it seems that they've moved a bit more upscale than I'd seen in the past. There seems to be less &quot;hoe-wear&quot; and more &quot;call girl wear&quot;.

Actually, I am home from my shopping expedition and the first thing I did was go change into my favorite VS jammies. They are traditional pajama style (pants and long sleeve button down top) but they are this great looking satin Indian Paisley print. I paid WAY too much for them ($70 including shipping) and they eventually went on sale (grrrrr) but you know what?

I don't care. These are the best jammies in the world! Even the neighbors like 'em, since I live in a neighborhood where we all go outside to see the shuttle at night or hot air balloons early in the morning.

Whatever you decide to get her, it should be a treat...
