Poll: HELP---what'wrong with my CUP

My cpu is AMD DURON 850.
I install all components into the motherboard.
And I open the computer without fan&heatsink on the cpu.
In the first 10 seconds,there is graph on the monitor,after that graph disappear on the monitor.
After I intall the fan&heatsink,I open the computer.There is still no any graph on the monitor.
I don't what's wrong with my cpmputer.
 
A) I messed up the CPU from overheating
B) Next time I'll put a heatsink and a fan
C) Where is the poll?
D) All of the above


I think your answer to your non-poll is D, all of the above. Specifically "A" for turning the computer on without fan or heatsink on the cpu. Did you even have thermal paste or a thermal pad on the heatsink?

My other question would be why do people put "Poll" in their topic when there is no poll? Do they not understand what a poll means? In this case poll does not equal to technical support or hardware diagnostics.
Ok so I'm ranting! I'm tired of people misusing poll when there is no poll!
 
first of all, you should've installed the fan and heatsink BEFORE turning on the computer.

This one finally got to me.

Either this person is trolling, or, they haven't got a clue.

If you know ANYTHING at all, you would know that about 3 to 5 seconds without the heatsink will FRY the CPU, jeesh.

Why do you think they make heatsinks and fans???

AMD says a tbird self-destructs in 7 (or 8?) seconds, a duron in 9-12. So if you're not trolling you killed your CPU.
 
Its the wrong size. When you went to the Athletic Store, you should have asked for a size small. 😉

Although I still have to ask, why did you turn the computer on without the heatsink and fan on it? WHY?! They are made for a reason!



EDIT: Oh and BTW, if there is no poll then DON'T put the word &quot;poll&quot; in your title!
 
what kind of graph was this? we need to know to further evaluate your problem eheh. j/k but as everyone has said you probably fried your cpu.
 
Assuming he is serious, can't you guys tell that it is a bad translation? graph = picture... grammar = needs work.
