Howdy all.

Wife is due on August 7th so we're ess than a month away. However we still haven't come up with a name for her so I'm looking to see what the ATOT community thinks.

Parents Info:
Mike & Colleen Boehm (rhymes with name, game, etc)

We've mostly decided on the middle name of Grace (my mom's first name) but are looking for ideas on the first name of the baby.

So, what do you think? Spelling could alter from what is lsited since some names have multiple spellings so just vote on the general name and not the specific spelling listed.

EDIT:
My wife's original plan was to name her Elly (Elizabeth) but her sister has a kid that goes by Ally (Alexandra). And since her parents are older she figured having an Ally and an Elly might be a tad confusing. I disagree since her sister lives in Iowa and we live in Wisconsin.... But anyway, her second favorite was Emma. We got the rest by going through some gigantic book and writing down the names we each liked. The ones listed in the poll are the ones that we both had on our lists.

Disclaimer:
This poll is simply looking for the thoughts of the ATOT community. The poll creator makes no assurances or guarantees that the winning name (or any name) on this poll will actually be used to name the child when she is born.

since her middle name is after your mom, (Grace, is a beautiful name) , how about the first name after your mother-in-law.

My wife ruled out all the females in her family because they are names like Marge, Beula, etc...

My serious suggestion?

Go back to the drawing board and pick a name she wont share with a large % of her generation.

Naming children currently popular names is a huge mistake. It dilutes their identity

I believe there are websites that list names, and their current and historical popularity and usage trends. Pick one that is not currently popular among newborns.

In that case, I suggest Bertha

Or Chevrolet.

:p

Well, common sense would dictate you NOT use names that are historically ridiculed, or have become brand names.
