I am torn between 3 different motherboards, and I need you guys to help me choose.

First is the ASUS "K8V SE Deluxe" K8T800 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket 754 CPU
-I've heard a lot of good things about this board and Asus is a very trusted brand.

Second is the GIGABYTE "GA-K8NS PRO" nForce3 250 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket 754 CPU
-My last two motherboards were Gigabyte, and I haven't really had any major problems with them. After reading some of the reviews, it seems as though this board is not very user friendly and has some bugs.

This one is MSI "K8T Neo-FIS2R" K8T800 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket 754 CPU
I was never a fan of MSI, but I read through the reviews and everyone seems to love this board. If it's really that much better than the others, I'm willing to give them a shot.

Which would you choose? Keep in mind I want to use this ram in the system. Thanks a lot

I really don't think anyone could do something that would justify this timing at all.
It was either those or these

wasn't saying Corsair wasn't the shiznit just wondering what you'll be needing one of the top o' the heap ram modules for..? If you are running just about anything 1.8ghz or higher currently..you might wish to hold off for about a month..

You mean for socket 939 or whatever? I was looking at them, but the only processors compatible with them are going to be aroud $450+, and I don't really want to pay that much.

You don't need 2-2-2-x memory timings with an A64, since the memory controller is on the chip. And this is coming from someone who just paid $345 for a gig of 2-2-2 Mushkin about a month ago.;)

I'd go with a the nForce3 board. Never have been a big fan of VIA. Then again, what do I know, I'm running a P4 rig at the moment and haven't had the pleasure of dealing with an A64 yet.

MSI Neo-Platinum Nforce 250gb.

Also, hit up whatever website of the board you'll be buying and search the forums. Make sure your RAM is compatable.

Go with Mushkin level1 PC3500. And the K8V. Very fast and dependable. You don;t mention overclocking, but with this combo, you could get at least 210 HTT.

without a doubt, the nforce3 250, gaurenteed to have a working PCI/AGP lock with near identical performance to the via, nvidia has a better reputation than VIA when it comes to stability and driver quality also
