Poll: Help me choose a webcam!

Looks like my gf is moving to Georgia anyway 🙁 (Kind of a long story, which I won't go into here. This isn't ATOT, after all 😛). Anyway, I was considering picking up a pair of webcams for us before she goes. After digging through the forums, I've narrowed my choices down to three:

Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000 - $79.58 @ Mwave, $99.99 @ CompUSA.

Orange Micro iBot, either USB 2.0 ($71.01) or Firewire ($86.33)

ADS Pyro webcam, again either USB 2.0 ($62.23) or Firewire ($80.96)

Do the highspeed connections on the OM & ADS cameras make any difference, or is the USB 1.1 on the Logitech good enough? Just curious. Which would you choose, and why? any particular reason?

Just checked out the Logitech @ newegg: $165.96 / pair including 3-day shipping. So far this does look like the best bet, from the reviews that I've seen. Seems like nobody likes the Orange micro cameras, and I can't seem to find anything on the ADS Pyros.

Keep the votes & replies comming! I'll check the thread again in the morning.

what about the quickcam messenger? The reviews for this don't look too bad, and they're quite a bit cheaper.

Another question: since we both have LCD screens, would this camera work any better? The specs are identical to the Quickcam Pro 4000, it's just a smaller form factor. And it's got a couple little clips to fit on top of a laptop LCD screen. I wonder if they're wide enough to fit on a desktop version as well?

Well, I went out and bought one this evening, although it wasn't a logitech. That was my first mistake. heh. Got a different one because it had a base that would clamp onto my 17" lcd, and the specs were identical to the logitec cams. Picture wasn't worth anything and the software was really buggy. I'm taking this one back tommorow and maybe picking up the logitech then. On the other hand, I may just get my money back and wait until later. Guess I can always hope she doesn't have to move 🙂
