Poll: Hello?

What is the deal with locking my thread in the "Off Topic" thread where I am supposed to be able to speak my mind on a variety of subjects? I would like to know what the abbreviation "nef" stands for. If it's (horrors!!!!) dirty words you can PM me. Do not just lock my thread with no warning and no explanation.

I think this wins for the longest dead thread resurrection.
