How about 'Took back, never really forgave but over a couple years got over it but then finally dumped her sorry ass'?

;)

I don't understand the question....

There's nothing to forgive because they didn't do anything wrong if they came back to you.

I'm afraid that is what my situation might end up doing...

Nope that definitely qualifies as a "fool me once" action that does not warrant a second chance.

I forgave, gave another chance....

Once a cheater, always a cheater...

She cheated again (different guy), and was engaged to the guy 1 month later... went for the money.

I don't agree with that.
You can take someone back and not forgive them. You are taking them back, there has to have been a problem to begin with. It could be that they cheated on you because of you. But they still cheated.

Me, personally, I would never take back a cheater. They did it once, why wouldn't they do it again?

mine cheated twice

i forgave her and left

she realized she was screwing up and paid my way back (1000.00)
bought me a new computer (1600.00)
and stood by me when i got hurt on the job

she treats me like a king now
we have a son and two daughters

son may or may not be my biological but i was there to see him enter this world, sat up during his sick nights, teething, potty training,talking..his first word was da-da;)

he is four now

i am not married but we have been together over 5 years and she is my best friend

Never done or received a cheating. I'd consider forgiving once, but forgiving twice IMO is a sign of weakness and you need to read the writing on the walls. By the twice I mean if my SO cheated twice, regardless of forgiving or not I'd never trust her not to do it a third time. In 99% of cases somebody who cheats twice has proven they are more than likely to do it a third.

I wouldn't want to be with someone who cheated on me... It's not a matter of doing it again. Why would she do it in the first place unless she didn't actually want me?

Why would you let someone who's been willing to treat you like trash back in your life? Cheaters make me sick, and most the people willing to do foul stuff like that are bad people to begin with. Perhaps not bad people, but certainly not people that should be involved in any relationships.

If you let her back into your life and she cheats on you again, the fault is on you.
