We'll consider 1TB to be 1,000,000,000,000 bytes. This is for one machine you have at your residence. Work doesn't count.

I'm still down there at 258.3GB total. I just bought a 160GB drive the other day, otherwise I'd be down at 98.3GB.

Nope, but a friend of mine has just increased his arrays to 600Gb. :)
(You don't want to know what he's doing with that storage space)

Forgot to mention, I'm at 340Gb in this PC, 60Gb in the server, and I have 60Gb, 30Gb and 22Gb IBM drives on the floor next to my desk. The 60Gb doesn't really work well (keeps power-cycling itself when using), but the other two are fine.

That's 512Gb, 452Gb usable.

Man, that's a lot of space.

I picked up the 160 so I could make a backup of everything on the 80 and the 18.3, plus have ~70GB of extra space.

You can join the club for $604 according to Pricewatch. Not bad considering that 9.1GB drives were $1800 when I was 15 (1997-98).

A 60gb for system files/programs/music & an 80gb for gaming. I should move my music to the other drive...

nope.

36 GB OS drive, 250 GB media content drive, and a 100 GB shared external drive.

thinking about maybe adding another 250 GB drive when I upgrade my motherboard (only room for 2 SATA drives right now). currently I only have 75 GB free, but I have a lot of duplicate files/directories that I need to go through and erase someday when I get bored / have the time.

You'd only count the ones inside your main system.

Still blows my stuff away though.
