Here's a silly question for the religious people here: If Alabama's Chief Justice Moore is correct and the 10 Commandments are the moral basis for law in this country, where is the Commandment that states "Thou Shalt Not Smoke Pot"? The closest one that seems to apply would be the 10th one, which states "Thou Shalt Not Covet", but the definition of "covet" is vague on this point and implies that the intent is that you shouldn't strongly desire things that don't rightfully belong to you.

It's not religion. Most people just realize how stupid smoking weed is. I'm sure there are people that think that getting high puts the devil in you, but the vast majority of Christians are normal, sane people.

Also, you do realize that there are religions that don't use the 10 commandments, right?

I know.. I was just making a dig at the stupidity of Chief Justice Moore and the people who think as he does.

Smoking weed isn't really stupid in and of itself. Smoking it irresponsibly (i.e. doing it a LOT or doing it and then driving, etc.) is. Healthwise, your lungs are certainly better off if you just eat the stuff, but otherwise there are no negatives to it unless you do it an awful lot.

Meh, stupid is a subjective word. I'd consider it stupid, but anything adults do in the privacy of their own home that doesn't hurt anyone is fine with me....

and I'm sure Taco Bell loves it when people get the munchies.
