Poll: Have you ever raced you car on a racetrack?

I ran my mazda rx-7 full throttle on an unopened stretch on interstate when I was in college. It seemed like racing but we were the only car.

Now when I was a kid I raced my dad's maxima on a number of occasions on "road courses", IE public roads.

Not the car I have now. But I used to race my AMC (in the 70's) @ Orange County International.

I may bracket race one of my cars this year @ woodburn (Oregon)

What tracks do you race at?

1/4 mile - several drag strips
road course - Texas World Speedway, Memphis (can't remember name of track)
oval - Texas Motor Speedway, little track down in Kyle, TX
Autox - several parking lots

Right now I'm racing the weekly series at Stockton 99 Speedway in Stockton, CA. It's my rookie season, so I'm going for rookie of the year there. Later in the year I'm going to race at Madera Speedway, and Shasta Speedway. We might go down to The Bullring at Las Vegas too in september, not sure yet.
