With the number of martial arts related threads I have seen on ATOT, and the number of people who reply to them, I was wondering how many people here have actually trained in martial arts, and whether they are still active and for how long...
Why 5+ years as the last option? I dunno.
EDIT - BTW, Tae Bo and cardio kickboxing DO NOT COUNT as martial arts. There has to be some combat theory involved in training.
I've been doing Shorin-ryu for 13 years, Okinawan kobudo from a little more than 10. I have also done at different times (but not presently active) in Small Circle Jujutsu, Kendo (which I want to take back up) and did fencing for a little bit back in college.
