Stung countless times by wasps/hornets, only once that I can recall from a bee, and bitten a few times by fire ants.

sounds like you had a slight allergic reaction if it swelled up that much.

A friend of my brother was driving his car while wearing shorts. Well, a bee flew in the window and proceeded to fly up his shorts. My brother's friend got a little freaked out by that and diverted his attention away from the road and focused it on removing the sharp, poisonous insect from his groin.

He ended up driving off the road into a telephone pole and got stung on the leg anyway. He was OK though, aside from the bee sting.

I've been lucky - never been stung, and I'm not scared of them either so I don't run like a girl. Just lucky! No stitches or broken bones either and yes I used to spend a lot of time outside.

I've been stung probably 10-15 times.

It isn't a big deal anymore.. although.. wasps, yellowjackets and bumblebees hurt like fsck. :p

Actually one of the saddest things I ever saw: Last year I was at this stand for a sno biz snocone (They rock!) and up pulls a convertible eclipse. Out of it gets this 35-40 year old very thin muscular blond guy. Probably a closet homosexual but that's besides the point. A wasp was around and picking on this guy and he was _spazing_. I mean it was seriously like a 4 year old kid would do with an aversion to bugs. This guy was stamping and running and trying to swat it. He was working himself up into a frenzy from this wasp and I just couldn't believe a grown man would act this way to a small little bug which almost certainly wouldn't sting him. Really really pathetic! I think most people were laughing inside at this goofball!

I have been stung by multi types of bees, wasps and hornet, but only once time that I got a allergic reaction from 5 stings from wasps during tree planting that required me to go to emergency.

As a kid I was biten by many types of bugs including ants, scorpions, spiders, kissing bug, centipedes, millipedes, lizards, geckos, snakes, jellyfish, and other poisonous fishes.

Black & white scorpions doesn't do much to me, but the one time that I was stung by a red & a golden scoprions at the same time that make me dizzy and puke my gut out. It took me about 24 hours to recover from it with out any medication. Also once a snake biten me that make my body feel hot and it went away after about 5 hours of sleep & lots of water with out medication.

Most poisonous bugs & animals isn't harmfull to the average person, but it can be deadly to the people that are allergic to it.

Been stung numerous times. Was attacked by a swarm of hornets once. Turns out they really don't like it if you walk by their nest carrying a bright orange life jacket. I think I ended up with 15-20 bite marks (I dropped the life jacket right away and started moving in the opposite direction, so they didn't attack for long). Didn't really notice at first, the first few bites just felt like slight pinches on my skin.

10+ times. I was an active kid. It's also funny how bees are smart enough to track you down if you shoot their hive from 50+ feet away! :Q

I have a buddy who runs away like a sissy when there's a bee in sight, it's hilarious.

But yet dumb enough to end their life by gaining satisfaction in stinging you.
