When you get banned, search for the last few posts that you've made to look for a mod edit --give it a few minutes. Then, if that doesn't work, try sending an email to the mods. Or have someone PM the mods for you, asking why.

It said "Goodbye for a month". idNut got a month too. It's not really important, that was back in April, I think. So I'm not going to push it.

Hmmmm....that's a tempting thought. I'll probably have to over-season the meat to get rid of that bitter flavor, though.

Just got back from vacation today.

Nope, never. The closest I've come is posting in a thread that was abruptly deleted. Considering it was a thread someone posted asking how to steal cable TV through their cable internet I was hardly surprised that it left, though the speed at which it left was pretty damn fast. (For refference all I posted was an answer to what method Satellite TV -- not DSS but old-school stuff with the huge dishes -- employs to block of access to certain channels/feeds)

On a vaguely related note a DJ at the local rock station once had an interesting topic for mid-day call-in: "do you steal your cable TV?" It would have been okay if he hadn't let people tell him how they did it. The next day he came on the air and said "apparantly broadcasting methods to steal cable TV is bad, 'cause I just got my ass handed to me by my manager."

Banned once for a few days. My buddy and I were acting like jerks and he had just created his acct.

Never even a warning. Some no0b was Posting like This THe other Day and I suggested he get his shift key fixed (in those words exactly, nothing rude). I got a PM from him a few minutes later - ":| Troll. I have PMed the mods and they will ban you." I'm sure the mods laughed at him and I never heard from them.
