A co-worker told me his friend was walking on the streets of NYC and some guy with a knife demanded money. His friend refused and try to fight the robber, which led to him being stabbed and the robber got away.

So have you been robbed before? What was the outcome?
 
Car stolen, 3 radios stolen, house broken into, robbed at gunpoint and tied up when I was a manager at BBV in high school...

Any of those count?
 
Some arabs stole my infalatable boat when I was visiting my gran in the south of france when I was a little kid. Four bastards just rowed up to my friend and I on our boat and jumped on. We had to bail and swim back, but luckily my mate got the valve from the boat so it soon sank. For some reason they caught up with ym mate and grabbed his balls.
 
Was robbed at knifepoint while loading my car at Home Depot late at night. Turned around and swung a bucket of paint at the guys head. He got picked up at a hospital the next morning, and cops told me not to try something like that again.

But seriously, yeah. Only once in person, and had I had more money on me (it was less than $10.00) it would have been ON!. I wasn't convinced he was armed.
 
A group of about 10 guys once tried to jack me for my shoes. Well it was two guys who were confronting me, but they had about 10 guys with him. I really needed shoes at the time so I wasn't about to give them up easily. Luckily for me one of the guys in his group knew me and told the other guys to keep it cool and they eventually left after some eyeball to eyeball "talking" between me and these two guys.

On a side note the guy who knew me was later convicted of murder...so I'm glad I was cool with that guy. Because I would think that if he really wanted my shoes he would probably have ended up with them.
 
Thieves are scum. I've had 3 cars busted into, wheels stolen, etc etc etc. If I ever caught someone in the act, I'd stomp their face into the ground, provided I wouldn't be putting myself in grave danger (ie, they have a gun pointed at me). But if I come up behind you while you're picking the lock on my car, guess what: you're going to eat that side of the car and it's going to take a gallon of acetone to separate your face from the metal.
 
I was robbed when I was delivering pizzas many moons ago. I let them have the money and the pizza, then went on my way.

EDIT: Yes I have. In 7th grade someone took my double jersey basketball card from my room. 🙁
 
Two bikes stolen... One from in front of my house when I was a little kid. Another was locked up in the basement of my apartment building with a 'guaranteed' lock. The first bike was about $20, the second was about $400. 🙁
