11/25/2003 6:27 PM -"Wow... paid all that money for a quality Apple product with a nice warranty and ya get jacked around like that. What a shame. That is another reason why Apple will never ever get a penny from me. "

12/28/2003 9:52 PM - "I love my 30 GB Zen... here's why I chose it over the iPod...

For about the same price, I got 30 GB of storage as opposed to 10 GB
The Zen has a replaceable battery, so if it sees heavy use and goes bad, it's no trouble at all to replace it
The battery in my Zen lasts about 10-12 hours
It's not an apple product, so in a way I'm contributing to Apple's demise by not giving them any of my money, and that's a good thing "

01/02/2004 7:26 AM - "Yet another reason not to buy an iPod... other than the fact that it's grossly overpriced"

01/02/2004 9:40 PM - "So now we're making excuses for a company to charge more for an inferior product with faulty componants? Wow. Hail Apple... they've douped consumers once again, and the consumers like it!"

01/02/2004 9:51 PM - "Hey, if you're gonna pay out the ass for a product, do you really want to be spending $50 every couple years on a new battery for it???"

01/06/2004 3:15 PM - "LMAO!!! $250 for 4 GB? No thanks... I'll stick to my 30 GB Zen for $260"

Why do you have to troll about iPods?

I can't believe you went through all that trouble to quote me... congrats, you have less to do today than I do 😀

*EDIT* How long did that take you anyway? About 10 minutes? 15?

**EDIT** Oh... and since you didn't read this post...

01/08/2004 3:31 PM - "But since all the recent attention the iPod has been getting I figured I'd try and get some real information as to how many iPod batteries are dying prematurely, and possibly what causes them to fail prematurely."

have you looked up info to see if full discharging affects ipod type batteries at all? from what i've read, lithium ion batts rely more on the quality of the charger tech/quality then on how you use the battery. that and extreme heat and cold. http://www.dansdata.com/gz011.htm
