Yeah, a co-worker yelled at me once. She had only been working here for 3 days, and decided to be a bitch about something on her computer that didn't work right, instead of filling out a work request to let me know that there was a problem in the first place. I was at here desk fixing it, which was maybe a 1015 minute job. She decided I was taking to long so she made a scene on the main floor of the bank. Funny think was, the CEO happened to be doing a transaction at the teller window. Even funnier to me was that she didn't work for us the next day.

I've been yelled at by supervisor in my last position i've held. But she was Psycho so i didnt take it to heart. MAJOR mental problems considering she originally came back to work for the company (her husband is the CEO) AFTER the recent suicide of their daughter in their basement so she was extra emotional.

nice one there! I haven't been yelled at work; if I did, I'd be the one doing the yelling

I used to work with bond traders in a very high pressure work environment. They were yelling at everyone all the time, sometimes because of the work, and sometimes because they had huge egos. It never bothered me cause it was just an overall stressful environment and it was part of the territory.

However, one day one of the traders got out of hand and started cussing at me because of a mistake that he made. I hung up the phone on him, and he called back to apologize but didnt have the balls to call me, he called my coworker. I told him that if he ever talked to me like that ever again I'd go over to his building and beat the living crap out of him. He never bothered me again. I don't miss working in that department, it was perhaps the most stressful 2.5 years of my life.

The only time I get yelled at is when the owner comes out to find me repossessing their vehicle ......

Other than that,no reason for any one to yell at me...

I used to work in a sales center for MCI MANY years ago. It didn't work out too well because I would swear back to the customers who cussed me. A few I would hang up on, and schedule the callback for 5 minutes. Those were the special cases though.

I have since repented for my eroniuos ways though🙂

Never being yelled at by manager or administration or anybody.

Came close to a few times when they raised their voice but more in a warning way to not repeat the mistake again. My manager was cool so he never yelled at me plus I dont make much mistakes anyways. I guess I was lucky.

Previous job my boss and I had it out like you wouldn't believe. He yelled, I yelled then slammed his office door do the yelling wouldn't disturb anyone else. We then had it out. I'm a small person 5'5" 150lbs. He is about 6'2" about 280 played for a local amateur football team. I thought he was going to take a swing. Anyway, after it was done I think he respected me more since I didn't back down. I knew his type if I would have backed down he would have fired me right there. My position was Systems administrator... Forgot why we got into it. Anyway we went for a cigar after. I ended up quitting within the month for a better job anyway.

My current (IT manager) job I get yelled at by every woman in the place. They all think they are my mother. I have been here longer then all of them, I report directly to the shareholders, but they still feel that they are my bosses. I don't get it. I just smile and say thank you!

ive gotten yelled at by this girl who works at a law firm near me and thinks all i do is sit around and post on ATOT. how little she knows...

I've been yelled at by customers for things like charging them for things they think they should get for free and crap like that. I just smile and act so overly friendly and sweet that I can just see their blood boiling.

That's the best way to get back.

Ah ha ha, I LOVE that technique! Talking slowly and calmly, but not condecendingly, kind of like Mr. Rogers, makes it work even better.

This is because you invite such abuse.

Was yelled at once by my current boss in the first week i worked there. I turned right around and yelled at him and told him if he has any common sense he would ever yelled at me ever again. He backed down and now 2 and ahalf years later he doesnt tell me to do a thing and gives everyone else the extra things to do now. Makes for a weird situation cause im a real big guy thats laid back most the time and hes a real skinny guy with a big temper. A lot of people i work with that been there longer them me never seen anyone yell back at him. I tell them to stand up for themselves but they dont 🙁
