He's from Lousiana, so he can probably get that Cajun sort of accent Gambit has. He certainly looks enough like him. Nothing some makup, contacts and hair dye can't fix. And his acting abilities are more than sufficient. Good call!

I second the motion that Clint Eastwood would make a good Cable. It's a pity the man can't really do stunts or anything anymore, because he would definitely fit the role well. What's worse is that I can't really think of anybody current who could play him as well as Clint could. The only thing I can come up with is an older and more gruff Kiefer Sutherland.
