Poll: HARDDRIVE MESSED UP CUZ??? OVERCLOCKING??????

i need help see i TRY to overclock my intel 700 mhz coppermine to around 900 mhz my fsb was 112 i think....and pci bus? is around 38 or something? then my harddrive got messed up window having erros and corruped files and deleted system files and etc? WUT HAPPENED?!!!!!!! HELP ME!@@@@@

it's mean not stable, 38 pci bus speed is still fine!

Yup, overclocking is most likely the cause. Is that a Maxtor drive? You may need to either not overclock or get a better(one that overclocks well) hard drive.

112 fsb is 784 mhz to get 900 fsb has to be at 128.6 so 129 mhz

now i have maxtor now...
so no overclock for me ever again?

the pci bus would be at 43 mhz(1/3) or 32.25(1/4) if you messed your drive you probably has 43 mhz pci bus try 133 bus (933 mhz cou and 33 mhz pci bus)

it didnt stART!
yet...wut it was at 48 pci bus...at 966? or something..it startED! my comp started that is weird..now i have maxtor harddrives....no more overclocking for me now?

lower to pci bus the better?
