***POLL*** Half and Half vs. Black and Tan

So i go up to the local Irish pub tonight for a few pints. I have 4 Guinness, and decide to then get a half and half. Guinness and Harp right? Nope. Not in this Irish pub, they call a Guinness and Harp a black and tan, and a Guinness and Bass a half and half. Both bartenders insisted that this is the way they have been serving for as long as they can remember. I didn't want to start an argument, so i settled for the "black and tan". Anyone else ever run into this?

I've been to numerous Irish pubs...in other states and even in Ireland, and have never run into a pub that served a half and half as a Guinness and Bass.

I think they have it reversed personally, but I've run into stranger things.. try ordering a snake bite at three different irish pubs and you'll get three different things.

To me:

Guinness / Harp = Half and Half
Guinness / Bass = Black and Tan
Harp / Strongbow(or whatever cider) = Snakebite
