Seems to me that every educated non-wealthy person I talk to has a strong dislike of GWB, similar to my own. So do you guys believe that GWB's support comes mainly from those who do not know better, and the very rich (who benefit from his administration obviously).

And perhaps the ignorant are kept ignorant and drawn into the Bush campaign by those with money?

I agree, but with CAD and Co being part of the rare exception I suppose. I'll write a more full reasoning later as this is undoubtedly a loaded question.

educated non-wealthy person
you mean college students right?
those who do not know better
this is the very definition of liberal elitism, you sound like Barbra Streisand!
and the very rich
i suppose when you depend on others for everything, they all look "very rich"
the ignorant
this is the MOST condescending statement i've seen in a while.

apparently one group that GWB does not have support from is the educated and ignorant

support also comes from those who consider him to be the lesser of two evils.

Other than the financial elite, Bush support is strongest among the greedy, shallow, frightened and short-sighted, particularly those suffering from ideologically inflicted self-righteousness and ethical deficiencies.

Reminds me of the seagulls in "Finding Nemo"- Mine! Mine! Mine!... Mine!

I voted, but the premise is simplistic and a bit silly. Uh, but isn't that why WE are here? :)

Again you show your inability for form a rational thought.

I am wealthy by most people's standards and I have never completed a college degree and I would support George W. Bush over any other current front-runners.

I'd agree a lot of support comes from the Rich, higher educated, self-starters, etc :)

For me, by your definition I'm sure I'm every negative adjective in a liberals slang dictionary. I'll confess to being hard working ignorant conservative that wouldn't mind being crucified for being rich one day.

My gf is an uber political Dean meetup-er or whatever, so trust me. I HAVE been called everything in a liberals slang book.
Funny how the words we use are English, but just don't mean the same thing.

That's why he said "every educated non-wealthy person I talk to has a strong dislike of GWB".

But I think the support for Bush really comes from baboons...

That is really quite good. Support for Republicans comes from a mind-set that is competitive. They are the losers in society who have failed to socialize and see themselves as autonomous thingis. They are the ones who have had or plan to have success at the sickness we call our society. The are the best at and most adjusted to the disease. The wish to conserve their position at the tit of their success. They see a threat in anything that squeezes off their milk. This flows from feelings of inferiority their apparent success hides and which it's removal would threaten to awaken. That's why they cling to power and why they do anything to win. That's why they are convinced that the world is right, because it's favoring them.

You guys are hilarious. I'm finding out answers to questions about myself that I just couldn't figure out.

My gf did say I had an odor, I've been acting strange lately and I've developed an appetite for bananas.
Thanks :)

Don't worry, you'll get called more ugly things by these poor educated people. It's what they do best. Hell, they can't hold down a solid job, thats why they need welfare, something to fall back on.

See, there's that pride in that phoney success. Something to chuckle about as I pick up my welfare check.

Hmmmm, I notice this poll is apparantly OK by the mods, while the "All Liberals are Stupid" poll by Nitemare was locked. Liberal bias @ AT? :)
