I've recently started to become interested in watching some of the most classic and timeless movies in Hollywood history. It got me thinking....

In terms of intellectual achievement, literary perfection, cinematography, directing, and acting ability, which movie to do think is the "greatest movie of all time"?

Please vote in the poll.

Here are some clips to help wet your film appetite:
.
FFS, overly expensive jeans guy, it's WHET YOUR APPETITE, not "wet" it.

Please, please, please don't let this be yet another example where the relentless repetition of abject ignorance triumphs, as with "begs the question."

It's a fine and noble English word.

Whet: to make keen or more acute : excite, stimulate <whet the appetite> <whetted her curiosity>.

The bastardized phrase "wet the appetite", born of your lazy lack of knowledge OF YOUR OWN DAMN LANGUAGE, doesn't even make any fucking sense.

Watch out, you mouth-breathing jackaknapes, you sons and daughters of the "you're special, everyone is special, here, have a trophy, next!" generation, I'm sharpening my knife on my whetstone, and I'm coming for you. 😛

Aren't you from Canada? In America we say "wet your appetite!"

For real though, I'm never heard that in my life. I'm sure you're correct, but I've honestly never heard that and I consider myself very well spelled (like well spoken, ahahahamuahahahahahah........errr).
