Hi guys

Just got a 2 cases from www.colorcases.com
A USB Stainless Black and a Terminator. WOW what room these 2 have. The Terminator is my favorite since every thing is upside down.

Question 1: I want to cut a hole in both cases slide of doors and mount a 80mm fan. What due I need to due? Or should I take them to a machine shop? I want them to look stock not hacked up.
Question 2: I have a Thunderbird 1Gig processor for one system and a dual PIII 850 for the other. I got 2 power supplies for the system from colorcases a Deer 300Watts and a Emermax 350Watts which should I use for what.

Thanks
TT

Hi Tammy. Welcome to AnandTech.

You can use a 3-inch bi-metal hole saw will cut holes exactly the size you need for 80mm fans. You can pick up one at Home Depot for about $15. While you're at Home Depot tell the clerk you need a drill bit that can easily go through sheet metal. Get one with a slightly larger diameter than that of the screws you'll use to secure your fans and grills/finger guards.

Speaking of the latter, I started with finger guards over my blowholes. They looked okay but too much dust was getting into my system. Then I switched over to black plastic grills and mesh covers. They do a much better job of keeping the dust out and look better too. I definitely recommend them for your cases, especially the Stainless Black one.

One of the best sources around for stuff like that is 2cool Tek.

As for which power supply to use with which processor, it's a little more involved than that. What other peripherals, fans, etc. will you have in each system? The one with more "stuff" to pull juice should get the Enermax power supply.
