Your Antec link isn't working for me, but if it's the PlusView1000 then I vote for that because it gives you front USB ports, very handy for plugging in a USB drive, joystick/wheel or whatever.

That is steel and the smaller window is better with that because the bare steel on the drive cages doesn't look too good. The chenming is aluminum and the cages don't look bad at all showing. I was using the antec, now I am using the chenming. Only diff is aluminum, no included front filter and a larger window, which I like. Along with more available colors.

I change things in my system regularly, so I appreciate the aluminum. But you can never go wrong with Antec. Consider what you prefer, then your decision should be easy.

The Antec Lanboy is nice and light! I have an older case which is the same size and it is soooo heavy in comparison. The Lanboy has a decent 350 W smartblue P/S in it and room for 4 5-inch bays and 4 3.5-inch bays... and just big enough for a standard size ATX mobo... plenty.

So if you care about weight, get the Antec Lanboy.. it even comes with carrying straps so you can haul it off to lan parties... hence the name.

I agree. Cooler Master and choose an appropriate PSU. The ATC-201C's are coming down in price, a really great and light case.

In that case, the chenming is your best choice. When I think of moving the 1000amg around I always start humming that Weird Al tune, "Livin' with a herrrniaaa, oooooowwww!"

The chenming is less that half as heavy.

Go with the chenming tower black, and made of Aluminum. You will like the aluminum construction when its time to move it around. The black is good looking and with no window you wont see the dust collecting inside yoru case.

The Antecs are heavy ( I have a 1080amg) but they aren't that heavy. By all means if you have troubles carrying like 40lbs around then don't get the Antec. But while it is nicer to have a lighter case i can't believe how much of a problem this is to some people. If you're going to lan parties all the time get a heavier case so you can get some exercise...

i'm still contemplating, i kinda like how the cages are covered with the 1080 and it wont show the IDE cables, but at the same time i kinda like the idea of using uv reactive IDE cables
