My Camry is a champagne color and it has the gold trim package (Toyota emblems, Camry lettering, pin-striping). It would look really odd with silver-trimmed badging clashing with the champagne color.

Here all Check out my car and tell me what you think! I dont think its bad.

BTW I will get a pic up soon with my new wheels. They are Motegi MR7 style.

Gold, silver, what difference does it make?

If they prefer gold, let them have gold.

That would the PIMP package. It is available only on mid 70's Caddys.

They're about as lame as cars with white wall tires.

Hey, don't diss the WHITE WALL TIRES MAN! 😉

Once on my parents car when we replaced the tires the stupid guy put the white side out(some tires comes with a white ring on them) and it made the car(jeep) crappy looking. :disgust:

I was looking at a silver Toyota Solara that had it. I normally hate it, but they didn't look to bad on it. I still probably would have removed them completely and gone stealth. The car had probls, so I didn't buy it.

it doesnt suit my taste. i honestly like the silver emblems much more then the gold ones. i dont know why, it seems more flashy. funny...

I don't like gold emblem'd cars... they're like base models with gold lettering... ppl think they're good that way or something... suckage.

Thank god for the new rims... silly Toyota with their 10" rims has got to stop.. those look like skateboard wheels..
MR7's are nice.. my friend has a set of 17's.. very clean... good stuffs. (you also have to lower that car, as Toyota also has a stupid tendency of making the car sit stupidly high)

Here's my car with the gold Toyota emblem up front and the gold pin-striping. The silvery/chrome emblems just wouldn't look right IMHO. The gold just blends in with the color:

The only other gold emblems are the Toyota logo and Camry LE on the trunk lid.

I've seen many champagne Camrys with silver emblems and they look fine to me. A silver stripe would obviously look weird.
