sorta related, I saw over the rhine a couple nights ago. they rule too.
 
Not much old-timey Country, no. I prefer Celtic and singer-songwriter pop &amp; rock.

I think I've only heard 1-2 of Welch's songs, and on them she was trying a little too hard for the old-timey sound, though not as badly as Joss Stone tries to be a Soul Sistah.
