E-mail the pics to me, I'll put them up on my school's server.

The volume/tone knobs gave it away. At least that is what I based my guess on.

hehe, i know the answer. But i accidently pushed the wrong one on the poll, opps. Sack: Epiphones are basically the cheaper version of Gibson, mainly because they are made out of the USA. All gibsons are made in the USA, and they tend to sound better. Id say if you got the money go for the gibson, but an epiphone sounds pretty good too

I figured Epiphone because the knobs and pick guard land such looked a little 'plasticy' to me, if you know what I'm saying.

The knobs are exactly the same as the authentic Gibsons. I played a Gibson LP Standard at the store while testing out amps, and it had the same knobs, and pickguard for that matter. It's probably just a photo thing.

And actually, this guitar will sound the same as the Gibson, because those are authentic Gibson pickups in it too. I like it better than the Gibsons too. As I said, I tested out a Gibson LP standard ($2500 cdn) when I was amp testing, and I could not tell the difference between my guitar and the Gibson. I could tell before I got the pickups changed though. The thing is, my guitar feels a bit better than the Gibson did too. The frets are a little nicer in particular.
