I think my overall acceptance rate was 70%...including the ones that got the Hamster essay. Not counting the ones that got the Hamster essay, it was probably 80%. Partially because I sent the essay to the schools I wasn't all that interested in to begin with.
lol Siberian Tree Lobsters, eh? Well, seeing that they live in South Africa, a continent I have never been to, I really don't know much about them other than the few standard facts you read in books like National Geographic.
If I remember correctly, they are responsible for the plague, are able to glide through the air from tree to tree, they live on elephant droppings and ear wigs. Due to their recent population explosion, Siberian Lobster Hunting is becoming a common, but deadly sport. The easiest way to kill a Siberian Tree Lobster is to taunt it, as they have been known to spontaneously combust when angered. They are responsible for forest fires that have destroyed thousands of acres of pristine forest.
But everyone knows that.
