POLL: For those that have 12/25 as a paid holiday

EDIT: For some ungodly reason I get Monday off. I'd much rather have Friday off. Oh well.

EDIT 2: So, it turns out I get Friday off, not Monday. I looked at a 2005 corporate calendar my coworker had hung over a 2004 calendar. So next year I get the Monday after Christmas off. Who would hang a newer calendar over an older one if the older one is still valid? Wouldn't I have have looked dumb showing up Friday morning for work😉😛

Need a 'Don't get time off option'

The question isn't whether your company is too cheap to give you a paid holiday😉

I'll get paid for it, but I'd rather have the time off. I blame the CME, I found out 2 weeks ago that I don't get time off.

We are usually open on Saturday. But we get Friday and Saturday as a holiday. I am taking Thurday off for Christmas. I also used one vacation day so I have 6 days off total. My mini-vacation starts in 2 hours. 🙂

off tomorrow, thur and friday, taking the whole next week off, and 1/3/05 is company's holiday, so I have a total of 13days off including sat and sun. :Q

We're closed on the weekends and I usually take the last 2 weeks of the year off. In fact, this is day 5 of my 16 day vacation!

Well it's a Saturday, so no... I get off from the 24th until January 4th, but I'm a contractor so I don't get paid. I'll probably do some work from home though, as I'll be bored and I have a deadline the week I go back to work.

We get Friday (12/24) off for christmas. We get all next week off as the company shuts down. We get Monday (1/3) off for new years. So, I have 11 days off total (7 paid, 4 weekend). I'm also taking tommorow and thursday off so I have 13 days off straight.
