So which do you use?

If I left out a major player, let me know and I'll add it.

According to OneStat.com, an Amsterdam-based Web metrics firm, Microsoft's Internet Explorer still rules the browser roost with a 88.9 percent usage share, but that number's down a full five points since May.

The decline in Internet Explorer was picked up entirely by Mozilla's browsers, particularly its stand-alone Firefox, which just released in version 1.0 two weeks ago. In that time, more than 5.6 million copies of Firefox have been downloaded from the Web.

I use firefox. I love mouse gestures and tabbed browing. However, there are plenty of things that I don't like about it. I've had it crash a couple of times, and loose my profile, you need an extension to choose where you save downloads, and it displays some web pages incorrectly.

i use both. firefox just cuz of tab browsing, IE cuz there are many sites that dont work firefox (not mozilla's fault really, but thats how it is). having two different startup pages is cool for a lazy bum like me 😀

FF at home, IE at work. I have FF installed at work, but our company apps were designed for IE and have some problems in FF, so I just use IE at work instead of flipping between them.

Overall, I prefer FF over IE, even though I probably use IE more than I use FF (don't do much surfing at home.. atleast not in the last couple of weeks).

I can tell you that I've been looking at one of our client's web logs, and it looks like on their sites, IE is down to about 86%.

I use Mozilla's browser because FF has some quirks that annoyed me. But I'll probably try the new version to see what's up. Main thing I like is tabbed browsing and that custom apps can be installed like Proxy changers.

😀 😀 😀

FF at work, FF at home.

For those of you who are still using IE.. Try firefox for 1 week. You probably wont like it for the first couple days, but after that you wont be able to browse without it.

Just switched to firefox a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty nice, but it's not like I can't live without it now. The thing that really ticks me off is how it uses your memory as its cache or whatever. After 20 minutes of surfing it'll be using 100mb of ram, and it's annoying having to minimize windows just to get it back

Firefox at home. Firefox and IE at work (have to design web apps around IE or I wouldn't use it at work either).

once Yahoo Companion supports Firefox, I may switch. Until then, I can't give up my power-user-l33tness with Companion. Anyway I'm happy to report I've never gotten hit with anything... virus/trojan/adware. I wouldn't really have a reason to switch except that it loads pages .3 seconds faster.

BTW, anytime I click on an XPI or drag it to install a component, it tells me it cannot download. Fvcking firefox. :|
