Presently insured with AAA because they gave me a good rate. However, their customer service is the worst, bar none, of any company, in any field, that I have dealt with. Two examples:
(1) I'm on my third call, and it has taken nearly a month with no end in sight, to delete collision and comprehensive on one of my cars.
(2) I set up to pay my account through direct withdrawal from my checking account (at one of the largest banks in the country). They have never gotten this straight in almost six months. Several times I have had to go to the post office to pick up a certified letter from them demanding payment within a couple of days.
(3) They refuse to drop a driver from my policy (who no longer resides in the household, and in fact lives in another state) without a signed consent from that person.
Deal with these buffoons at your own risk! And keep an eye on your blood pressure when dealing with them.
