I went for Bertuzzi (#44 all the way - saw him plan for the Canucks last Easter)

Brodeur. He wins 40 games a year, plays almost 70 games a year and gets many shutouts.

You can get good forwards in the second round of the draft. The best goalies are gone in the first round.

Depends on the pool (tracked statistics), the number of players for each position on each team and the total number of teams.

Since I know all the answers to these questions (in the same pool), I will answer your question next week.

As a Red Wings fan, I will have to vote for "anyone but Hasek." Dom is a great goalie but there's no way he's first round material after a one year layoff. I like Naslund or Bertuzzi.

A goalie's stats aren't all of his own doing...

With Listrom, Hatcher, Schneider, Chelios, Fischer, and Dandenault in front of him, he'll get plenty of shutouts and wins, along with a small GAA.

I'd disagree. Look at that defense in front of him. He will be fine.

Naslund, but I'm a Canuck fan so my opinion is quite biased. You'd think that Sakic would do well, but I dunno, Kariya and Selanne *can* do well, they can royally suck too.

Someone else brought it up, if your Pool gives extra points for Shutouts, then a good Goalie is hard to pass up, though it depends on what kind of "extra" they are.
