I am at the end of the rope with this one!! I hope someone out there can help me...please.

SYSTEM: Abit KT7A Mobo
1.2 Gig Athlon
256 Meg SDRAM
NVIDIA Riva TNT2 Model 64
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live Sound
40 Gig HD Caviar

After formating the hard drive I installed Win 98 4.10.1998 (upgrade) clean install. The only card I have installed is the video card to avoid any other conflicts. When the system finally reboots it usually gets this error:

EXPLORER...An error has accurred in your program...
CLOSE IGNORE

Pressing either one will get you to another error box:

EXPLORER...This program has performed an illegal operation...DETAILS-Explorer executed an invalid instruction in module DIBENG.DLL at...

These messages will alternate and will not let you access windows. Sometimes pressing the reset switch (which I hate doing) will reboot the system and clear this message. During this time I loaded the Motherboard drivers (for KT133A Chipset) but this really made no difference. I have tried reloading the system at least 9 times with alternating results.

I am LOST!!
