Poll: Ever fired a gun?

A real gun; not a pellet, bb or paintball one. I haven't. I know I'm in the minority, but I'm curious by how much.

I've been firing guns...real guns ever since I can remember...I had my first shotgun at the age of 9, and I've fired about every imaginable gun you can legally get your hands on...it's really not that big of a deal...I've never fired them at any humans, nor would I ever turn a weapon on another human...but I have killed my fair share of animals.

M16, .44mag pistol, Desert Eagle, 9mm pistol, 30.06, 30.30, 410 ga, 20 ga, 12 ga, 16 ga, SKS, M1, .22 mag rifle, .22 pistol. Is that enough?

Edit: .38 and .357

I only own one of those.

When I was working at UCLA...my friend there was an avid gun collector...we went out to the desert and shot AK47 semi-automatic, Baretta, Colt, Musket and a few others that dont come to mind. Kinda freaky but exciting at the same time

yes, .22 shooting cans at a friend's place, a Swedish assault rifle at an open house at an army base in Sweden (along with several pistols and a kick-a$$ crossbow). The power of the assault rifle was scary ... I'm not a big gun lover, but to do that really brought home the realities of what these things can do.

We used to get drunk and shoot empty bottles. I've fired a double-barrel shot gun, .357, .22, and a WW2 Wehrmacht handgun.
